Release of STAR6.3
Updates: Customers whose Total Customer Support (TCS) was active on December 1, 2004
will be receiving the new STAR6.3. The update will include the new software and also a new key file.
You should receive the update no later that
April 1, 2004.
STAR6.3 introduces a new product into the STAR6 family, it's called STAR6 Lite. For those
customers who perform Modal tests where your models are a 100 points or less, this may be
an excellent choice for you. Please contact your local salesmen or local STAR Representative for pricing information.

- Interactive Operating Deflections Shape animation display
- Quickly and easily import old STAR projects and Universal Format Files
- New Transducer Orientation - specify a local axis for each individual point, if desired
- New Bode and CoQuad Measurement plots
- Simplify creation of multi-plot measurement displays
- Export to Universal File Format of Modal Results in either complex or normalized format, geometry files, and measurements
- Ability to remove artifical damping added when using Exponential averaging
- Addition of math functions, g's to acceleration and acceleration to g's
- Measurement Zoom, use Zoom on Cursor or Zoom on Band
